Our Award-Winning Wines - Guide Hachette des Vins 2026

September 2025 :  Guide Hachette des Vins 2026 release.

This guide, which is a key reference for over 40 years, selects each year the cuvées that stand out for their quality and character.

We are proud to announce that several of our Languedoc wines have been awarded in this new edition.

Discover below our distinctions and the tasting notes from the jury.

      1. AOP LANGUEDOC

  • La Grande Cuvée white 2023 – Domaine Guinand : 1 Star

A nicely oaked Languedoc wine (aged for 8 months in barrels) with a nose of sweet spices and frangipane, revealing hints of fruit (pear). Vanilla dominates the perfectly creamy palate, which is smooth but not flabby, enhanced by a touch of acidity. A crowd-pleaser that should be universally appreciated.”

  • Devois de Perret rosé 2024 – Le Cellier du Pic : 2 Stars

“Night-time harvesting and selective pressing of the best juices for this vibrant rosé. Barely tinted but brillant, the colour sets the tone for a luminous wine with fresh aromas of lemon and English sweets. The palate is flavourful, bursting with red fruits (strawberry and redcurrant), lively but also plump, with a hint of pepper, and offers a characterful, slightly tannic finish. A work of art.”

  • L’Orangerie de Luc red 2023 – Famille Fabre : 1 Star

“A Syrah (80%) vinified using carbonic maceration and then aged in concrete vats has produced this lively red wine, full of (black) fruit and spice, sunny, round and crisp on the palate, with a slightly stimulating tannic firmness. Delicious and distinctive, it should be opened within three or four years to pair with a beef steak with pepper sauce.”

      2. AOP TERRASSES DU LARZAC

  • Closade Saint Julien red 2022 – Fonjoya : 1 Star

“Born from the rolling pebbles of the appellation and matured soberly in vats, this is a distinguished wine with subtle but precise aromas typical of the region, including candied red fruits, garrigue and dried tomato. Silky and tender, supported by perfectly relaxed tannins, it is a caress on the palate. It can be served with lamb chops, for example.”

      3. AOP PIC SAINT LOUP

  • La Cordée red 2023 – Le Cellier du Pic : 1 Star

“Behind a bright ruby colour, lively aromas of garrigue and red fruit on a mineral background. We love its beautiful structure on the palate, its delicious sweetness and soft tannins that carry the fruit through to a finish enhanced by a touch of acidity. Charming and true to its terroir, it would be perfect with thyme-crusted lamb chops, for example.”

      4. AOP PICPOUL DE PINET

  • Domaine Reine Juliette Terres rouge white 2024 – Domaine Reine Juliette : 1 Star

“Born from the stony soils of the appellation, this is a truly exuberant 2024 vintage, saturated with passion fruit, grapefruit, boxwood and pineapple. Full-bodied and round, the palate is consistent, emphasising the exotic fruit and adding a refreshing citrus note to the palette. Generous and expansive, it is sure to seduce.”

      5. IGP PAYS D’OC

  • Bis By Biscaye Viognier white 2024 – Domaine Biscaye : 1 Star

“Freshly released from the vats, this is an appealing white wine with blossoming aromas of flowers, peach and citrus fruit: no doubt about it, this is Viognier. Intense, fragrant and very lively on the finish, it does not disappoint on the palate.

The jury praised this ‘modern white wine’ which adds a lovely freshness to the full fruitiness of the grape variety.”

  • Bis By Biscaye Pinot Noir red 2024 – Domaine Biscaye : 1 Star

“Pinot Noir thrives under the Languedoc sun, as evidenced by this flattering red, generously fruity (cherry), slightly spicy, round, supple, not overly long, but fresh and crisp.”

  • Bis By Biscaye Marselan red 2024 – Domaine Biscaye : 1 Star

A very flavoursome version of Marselan (a cross between Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon), a grape variety known for its colour and roundness. This 2024 is no exception, offering a generous bouquet of red and black fruits on both the nose and palate, with a soft and supple texture. Juicy and spicy on the finish, it will be perfect with grilled meats.”

  • Le P’tit Bouïs Viognier white 2024 – Château le Bouïs : 1 Star

“Sandy loam soils provide the foundation for this charming, distinctive Viognier, which seduces from the outset with its bouquet of yellow peach and flowers. Rich on the attack but juicy and light, the palate delivers generous fruitiness with honesty. Effective, it will be unanimously appreciated.”

  • Le P’tit Bouïs Cinsault red 2024 – Château le Bouïs : 1 Star

“Now very popular in the South, Cinsault takes centre stage in this lively, easy-drinking young red wine, with aromas of red fruits and orange, offering all the pleasures of the grape variety: suppleness, fruit and more fruit. Easy to drink and smooth, it can be opened as an aperitif.”

  • Les Chemins de Perret Sauvignon-Muscat white 2024 – Le Cellier du Pic : 1 Star

“Two aromatic grape varieties (Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc) combined to create this explosive white wine, with exuberant aromas of apricot, exotic fruits, flowers and citrus fruits. It is soft, round and fresh on the palate, with a definite indulgent quality. Perfect as an aperitif.”

  • Domaine de Luc Syrah-Viognier red 2023 – Famille Fabre : 2 Stars

“A hint of Côte-Rôtie in this original and charming red, with 20% Viognier added to the Syrah. Black fruits, olive paste, black pepper and violet on the nose – pure bliss. Creamy and silky, with barely any tannins, it is just as enchanting on the palate, lingering on the spices in a very persistent finish. Open it in two or three years with meat in sauce.”

  • Grande Courtade Alvarinho white – Famille Fabre : 1 Star

“The Fabre family had the excellent idea of planting Alvarinho, a Galician grape variety that has proven itself in the Rias Baixas region. Aged in vats, this Languedoc version brings out all its charm: intense, fruity (peach, citrus) and floral aromas, and a soft, fresh, sapid and light palate. Perfect as an aperitif with fried baby squid.”
